     For almost thirty years Beaver Island's visitors and residents have thrilled to Edward Palmer's renditions of Island-style old time music.  Now this warm feeling can be yours, thanks to Edward's new audio tape.  Recorded in the MSU sound studio in preparation for the House Party record and book, this tape includes many of the songs that have warmed hearts at special events such as New Year's, St. Patrick's, and Homecoming, as well as weddings, anniversaries, and house parties.  So many people have left the Island with Edward's songs still ringing in their ears that these tunes have become associated with Beaver Island's wonderful mystique.  Edward plays piano, harmonica, and guitar on these 16 selections, and is backed by Island favorite Rich Scripps on bass.  Be sure to order extra copies for your friends, so you can hear these traditional favorites wherever you go!
